Care Cash aims to help Delaware small business members make healthier choices and save on care costs
Beginning Jan. 1, 2024, Care Cash® will be embedded in all small business (2-50) fully insured non-HSA plans in Delaware. For existing small business customers, Care Cash will be added to their plan design upon their 2024 renewal date.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2024, Care Cash® will be embedded in all small business (2-50) fully insured non-HSA plans in Delaware. For existing small business customers, Care Cash will be added to their plan design upon their 2024 renewal date.
Care Cash helps employees pay towards cost sharing for certain eligible network health care expenses and encourages them to use quality care. This preloaded debit card can be used for:
- Visits to UnitedHealth Premium® primary care and specialist providers
- Network primary care visits
- 24/7 Virtual Visits
- Urgent care
- Outpatient behavioral health
- Network lab visits
With Care Cash
- Employees receive a preloaded debit card with $200 per year for individual coverage or $500 per year for family coverage
- The card is reloadable, with any remaining balance rolling over each plan year toward a $2,000 maximum.
- New funds are loaded every plan year.
