Benefit Ally customer campaign to launch in April
Not Applicable in: CT, ID, MI, NH, NM, NY, UT, VT, WI
A study showed that 49% of adults in the U.S. can’t afford an unexpected medical bill of $500.1 Additionally, customers and their employees may not be familiar enough with supplemental health benefits to make informed decisions about their health care.
UnitedHealthcare Benefit Ally® provides value to employees by paying our members back for eligible covered health events. Did you know that in the first 2 years of offering Benefit Ally, the average payout to a covered member was over $500 for eligible covered events?2
With Benefit Ally the health plan comes with Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident Protection built in. Whenever a covered health event occurs, Benefit Ally identifies medical claims that qualify for a supplemental benefit payment and sends a check to the employee.
Starting in April 2024, a series of 3 emails promoting Benefit Ally will be sent to targeted UnitedHealthcare customers* and continue every month through September.
